PORTFOLIO COMIC ARCHIVES CHARACTERS LINKS
Oh man, this is probibly my piece that I am the most proud of. The online version really doesn't do it justice, so here's a link to a more full-quality version. This is the second part of the Necorcide project. I think I'll put up an ISO of the DVD at some point. Anyways, so this is the poster for this fake movie "Necrocide." I actually got this janks printed up full movie poster size, and then laminated. I made the mistake of going to Kinkos to take care of my printing....oh man....

So I go in with the file saved on a CD, keep in mind that the image is somethign like 4000 x 6000 pixels. So, whenever you open it, I guaruntee your computer is going to kind of lag up, especially if you're a POS kinkos computer. So I chill out for like half an hour untill the file is open. Then I tell them to quote me a price estimate for printing it. They said it was gonna be like five bucks a square foot of color. So it worked out to be like seventy five bones to get it printed, right? Then I asked how much to laminate this thing. They said "I dont know." Like, there wasn't any way to know untill they actually did it, and see how much laminent they used up. All told this movie poster cost me close to a hundred bucks to get printed.

Then when I saw the finished product, they had really messed it up. The colors are much much darker, and in some cases just compleatly changed. I dont know what happened. The finished result, while looking different I think still looks pretty cool. I'm glad I laminated this bad boy though, I'm really proud of it, and want it to be around for a while. I really need to buy a laminator.
