This is a piece I made in my first college art class. The goal was to take a photograph and break into shapes of different gradients of lights/darks. Then we had to copy and paste that four times and do one of complementory, teriary, and monochrome colors. This was a really fun assignment because it was the first time I learned how to use illustrator as anything more than a word-bubble maker, or a text editor.
