Swine Flu is an experiment in dualistic control schemes, meaning the player is forced to control two different characters at the same time. The two protagonists are a mother pig and baby piglet. The two are the targets of Swine Flu crazed people who are trying to take them away.

The baby pig defensively maneuvers through the environment and must collect the vaccine syringes scattered throughout the level. The Mother pig must use her spit to keep the enemies away from her and her piglet.

Mutactics is a Two-player game of tactical strategy based on Conway’s Game of Life. Each player takes turns placing colonies of life onto a spherical game board. After each team’s colonies have been placed, the game runs through a series of growth/combat/death algorithms, and the players place new colonies. The players also have three ‘bombs’ they can use to destroy their opponent’s colonies. The game continues until one side takes over a requisite portion of the sphere.

Use Your Imagination

 

Use Your Imagination: The Adventures of Squirt and Louie

Use Your Imagination is a 2D platformer that is set on a rotating world. Unlike traditional platformers that move left to right, Use Your Imagination takes place in a round world, where the player walks along the top of a ‘level wheel.’
The player has the ability to use their imagination in the form creating physics blocks. Several different types of blocks can be created to solve a variety of problems. Spring blocks allow Louie to reach higher places, where as Floater blocks allow him to build bridges in the sky. The game also takes place in two different worlds, one of pleasant daydreams, and the other of dark anxieties.

Spectroids

Spectroids is a colors-based game about a little alien who must gather fuel to return home. The player uses the mouse to guide the alien’s ship around an asteroid filed collecting minerals. The colored force field surrounding the space ship indicates which colored mineral the player must collect next. After each successful collection, the force field grows and changes color.

A very addictive game, that’s fun for all ages. Quick to learn, but challenging, Spectroids is complete with an on-line high score rankings, so feel free to compete against your friends.

Conflict Theory
- Designed, Developed, and Tested

Conflict Theory is simplified combat system for role-playing and miniature games. The basic principle was that combat systems should be simple, intuitive and flexible. Being under a dozen pages in length, Conflict Theory might be one of the simplest combat mechanics out there.

Additionally, the ease of understanding does not minimize the complexity and customizability of players’ experiences in any way. Instead, players merely understand how their powers work quicker, because they function simpler.
